We summit Mt Kilimajaro

Date : 26th Feb - 3rd Mar 2007

Location : Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Kilimanjaro, formerly Kaiser-Wilhelm-Spitze, is an inactive stratovolcano in north-eastern Tanzania. Kilimanjaro is the tallest free-standing mountain rise in the world and is the highest peak in Africa at 5,895 metres (19,340 ft.

We climbed the Marangu route which traversed the mountain for 70Km over 6 days. The final assent of 1500m was done at night as the extreme cold helps keep the rocks no the ground in place.
